The Florida Center for Emergency Medical Services (FL-CEMS) invites EMS professionals, educators, researchers, and innovators to submit proposals for presentations that showcase cutting-edge developments in research, education, and medical care within Emergency Medical Services.

We are seeking submissions in the following areas:

Research & Evidence-Based Practice

  • Prehospital clinical trials and data-driven decision-making

  • Predictive analytics and AI applications in EMS

  • Innovations in outcome measurement and quality improvement

Education & Workforce Development

  • Simulation, VR/AR, and immersive training technologies

  • Gamification and microlearning for EMS education

  • Strategies for recruitment and retention in EMS

Clinical Care & Technology

  • TeleEMS and remote physician support

  • Point-of-care diagnostics and portable imaging

  • Advanced airway management and resuscitation techniques

Presentation Formats

  • Workshops (4-6 hours, interactive)
  • Poster Sessions (research and case studies)

  • Innovation Showcase (demonstrations of new tools, devices, or apps)

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract Length: 500 words

  • Include: Title, track, learning objectives, and relevance to EMS innovation

  • Deadline: 11 May 2026

  • Notification of Acceptance: 1 June 2026
